GRAFTON women are dominating the business end of the North Coast Tennis Open with finals set to be played at the Grafton Tennis complex this morning.

Grafton's Taylah Beckman and Brittany Huxley will face off in the women's singles final.

Huxley will then team up with Kelly Adamson in the doubles final against other locals Kelly Ford and Amanda Jones.

After a number of washouts in recent years, the organisers of the competition are doing their best to beat Huey, and have moved the men's and women's singles deciders to 9am.

"The weather forecast is for showers later in the morning, so we'll try and play the singles finals early to make sure they are completed," Kelly Adamson said.

"The men's and women's singles titles will be held at 9am in the morning.

"We have two local girls in the women's final, and top seed Brendan Moore will play former winner Josh Barranechea in the men's final."

Adamson was forced to share the prizemoney from the Australian Money Tournament final last year after her singles final was washed out, and again it will be a race against the clock to complete the finals again this year.

The junior section of the Open has already seen some great results for Grafton.

Tianna McGarvie won the under-12 girls singles title while locals Grace Ford and Gabby Marshall combined to take out the under-12 girls doubles event.
